Ever try and send a file to a client and then the email bounced because the attachment was too large? Then try YouSendIt. The file delivery service allows you to send large files via YouSendIt's online email template and your recipient can then log in and download the file from YouSendIt's server. Setting up an account was a snap and sending a file was as easy as logging in to YouSendIt's web page with your user name and password, typing in the recipient's email address and browsing to the file you are sending on your computer. YouSendIt has a free service and then premium services that may make sense if you are a heavy user of the program, want tech support or you want to avoid seeing ads in the notification emails, you might want to sign up for a paid account. Subscription fees run from about $10 a month on up.
Thanks Greg,
ReplyDeleteI have been using Yousendit for the last six months or so.
Good service but recently switched to http://www.boltfile.com as i found a voucher code online giving 12 months service for the price of 6 (they do have a free service for up to 100MB sends but i need at least 1GB).
No problems yet and has some interesting features like text message (SMS) support, Flickr integration and a nice user interface.
Worth a look.
Cheers,
Sam
